Hong Kong 2009 - Day 2

On our second day in Hong Kong, my buddies and I tried to stick as close as we could with our itinerary, even though we knew it was going to be very tiring. As planned, we visited Wong Tai Sin in the early morning, than Lantau Island, Disneyland Hotel, before ending our night shopping around Tsim Sha Tsui after we caught the Symphony of the Lights. It was also the first time for us to try goose meat as well. We had that for dinner.

Hmm but I think the highlight for us that day was to ride on the crystal cabin towards Lantau Island. It was actually quite terrifying as the strong wind blowing at our cabin, causing it to shake, and lowering the temperature inside...man, it was freezing. :-) But sure, it was memorable. Alright, check out the pics I took for that day.

Hong Kong 2009 - Day 1

Wooohooo, finally managed to sit down and start resizing some of the photos we took during the first day of our Hong Kong trip (12th Nov 2009 to 15th Nov 2009). For those who don't know, bringing my mum to Hong Kong is one of the major goal I had for myself since many years ago and I'm really happy that it is accomplished.

Well, a week passes really quickly and deep down, I misses the weather, the excitement we had with my friends and mum during the time in Hong Kong. Especially enjoyed the time spend with my mum inside our hotel room, listening to her telling me what she saw during the day, just make me feel happy, cos she is happy. Anyway, as discussed with my khaki, Ms Stalker, we will definitely return again. Meanwhile...photos!!!

Interesting Seiko Watch

Today, my colleague Ivy shared this very cool watch brochure with me that she got from Seiko. Inside the brochure consists of various type of inspirational items that bought into the creation of each different designer's watch.

What caught my eyes were the aeroplane and traffic light watches. I thought they are very unique and interesting. What do you think?

Genting & KL Trip With Kevin

As I will be visiting Genting and KL again between Nov 6 to 8, I decided to share some of the pictures I took when I was there last year with my buddy, Kevin. It was fun staying with Kevin in this small motel called The Green Hut together with backpackers from all over the world.

The Green Hut offers us simple and nice breakfast, after which we went for a round of foot massage, shopping around the shopping malls such as Berjaya Times Square, Sungei Wang and the latest shopping mall, Pavilion. As night falls, we decided to go for full body massages before hitting Jalan Alor for some great tasting street food.

The time spent at KL was really fun and we decided to bring it up a notch and visit Genting. Instead of taking the usual bus trip all the way up, we opted for the cable car ride up to Genting. This mini-adventure was rather memorable for me and to know why it is memorable... check out the "Up the Genting Cable Car with Kevin Part 1 & 2" and you know why.

With the upcoming trip just round the corner, I just can't wait for 6 Nov to come quickly so I can experience Genting and KL all over again!

Beautiful Song By Faye

I just can't stop repeating this song on my iPod for the past few days...this song constantly reminds me of Faye's talent and how beautiful it is when she sing out each word. Her voice is just so unique and really make my day. So enjoy guys and hope you will love it too...

This Is It Rocks

Michael Jackson Performing In This Is It...
Not sure if you want to see Michael Jackson's This Is It movie? There are many very good reasons that you have to see it. Speaking for myself, I have never seen an entertainer or dancer, working as hard as Michael Jackson to prepare for a concert. What I really enjoy about the movie is how Michael Jackson reworked his new and old songs, using 21st century technology that has never been seen before to offer a unique concert experience.

For example, during one song he employed new software to capture the five dancers on stage and make it seem as though there are thousands of them standing behind him. At another time, the costume designer spoke about how they were using newly-unveiled crystals on Michael Jackson's suit that would light up on stage.

Seeing this movie should make all of us want to strive to be better people. It certainly raises the bar for all performers who charge high fees to see mostly ho-hum shows. The movie captures why Michael Jackson was a perfectionist and why his music and legacy will live a long time. Michael Jackson was completely in control of all aspects of the show, from choosing the dancers and singers to directing the actors or helping the band emphasize particular notes. The film humanizes Jackson as well; it was a particularly nice moment to see him eating a lollipop while reviewing different takes.

Michael Jackson was never caught being rude, being a primadonna, or nasty to anyone. In fact, he seems to try as hard as possible to be polite and kind to everyone. At one point, he is having a hard time with his ear piece during a song. While you can tell the perfectionist in him is irritated that he can't hear correctly, he politely asks that the sound be turned down lower. He says to the technician, "I am asking with L-O-V-E." At other times, he wishes the director and crew a hearty "God Bless You" and in the end, he enters a circle with the entire crew clasping hands where he tells them to give it their all, to give the audience something they have never seen before.

Last night, I really have a good time watching this movie with my buddies Xinxin and Bear, so guys, don't miss this chance of a lifetime to see the late King of Pop performing his magic, before it disappear from the big screen. God bless.
